I am curious as to if there is a system in place or one being worked on where Customers can order from their phones. Another tool to accomodate customers in this highly technological age. If the ordering system can be adjusted to be viewed on a phone then us owners can take care of the rest and create the page that will embed the ordering engine.
If it isn't in the process or even talked about, what can I do to motivate Datawedge?
Not a lot... because from what we are seeing, phone browsers are catching up to "full" web browsers.
We talked about created a "phone friendly" app a few years ago, and have since seen phone browsers close the gap on their own.
Even now on the iPhone and the Palm Pre, and many Blackberries, you can use the full-blown ordering engine on their browser and place orders. (many users already have).
The only "filler" that might be of some use is to create some short of "mobile short-cut" engine for the tiny phone browsers out there... but even those are diminishing returns... it's more than obvious in phone sales that smartphones are taking over the phone market...
